I do not leave my PC on 24 hours and most files never get synched. If you change, say 2 files, it takes over 4 hours for the desktop app to identify the 2 files that must be updated. Secondly, they have to holistically and significantly redesign the desktop application. They must absolutely solve for allowing the user to set a synch value per synch pairs as each synch pair is different and has different needs.
Based on recent pushing they have changed the global setting to at least set a frequency greater than every 5 minutes but rather than make it flexible they only serve up a list to choose from.
